Bridging the Gap: How Internet-delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Supports Those Struggling with Loneliness

This presentation will explore the topic of loneliness, it’s impact on mental health, and how Internet-delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can be a helpful tool for people who experience frequent and distressing loneliness. Our esteemed speaker, Dr. Anton Käll is a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral researcher at Linköping University in Sweden. His research focuses on the role of the social context in understanding and treating mental health problems. Primarily, he studies the impact of loneliness on mental health and how it can be alleviated with psychological treatments.

This presentation will explore the topic of loneliness, it’s impact on mental health, and how Internet-delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can be a helpful tool for people who experience frequent and distressing loneliness. She is also a Canada Research Chair in Reproductive Mental Health, appointed by the Canadian Institute of Health Research.
